The Future of Fish Feed organisation has invited feed companies and producers to discuss fish-free diets for carnivorous fish, such as salmon and trout.

The panel, which will also include research scientists, will look at the latest achievements in fishmeal and fish oil replacements, as well as the potential for totally eliminating wild-caught feed ingredients in carnivorous fish diets.

Taking part are representatives from Alltech, Aqua Cognoscenti, Dainichi Corporation, Florida Atlantic University, Ocean Era, and the USDA’s Agricultural Research Service. A question and answer session will follow the presentations.

The event, part of a year-long webinar series hosted by the F3 team, is free and open to everyone.
