Second electric workboat for Nova Sea

Norwegian salmon farmer Nova Sea has taken delivery of its second electric workboat from Folla Maritime Service. The vessel, called El-Vine, is the same Follawork 35 Electric model as Nova Sea’s other electric boat and will be stationed at Sør-Arnøy, on an island in the north of Norway.

“We have received good feedback from the users of the first electric boat we delivered to Nova Sea Bolga last autumn,” said Folla marketing manager Greger Samuelsen.

“Both boats have the same type of propulsion and 330kwh battery. Even after long working days, they still have good residual capacity on the batteries. So, we are confident that those on Arnøya also get a boat they appreciate.
