That’s an increase of 1,300 tgw on the same period last year.

The fish came from its Central and Northern farming areas in Norway and its Arnarlax subsidiary in Iceland.

The Q3 2020 volumes were:

  • Farming Central Norway: 30,100 tgw (Q3 2020: 28,100 tgw)
  • Farming Northern Norway: 5,300 tgw (5,400 tgw)
  • Arnarlax – Iceland: 1,700 tgw (2,300 tgw)
  • Total Q3 2020: 37,100 tgw (35,800 tgw)

Scottish Sea Farms’ volumes are not included because ownership is shared 50/50 with Lerøy, and it is therefore classed as an associate company, not a subsidiary.

SalMar’s complete report for Q3 2020 will be published on 12 November 2020.
