He will offer “consultancy in marketing, communication, counselling, courses, lectures and publications within a wide range of business interests and policies”, he said in a submission to the Quarantine Board, which rules of the transition of ministers to positions outside state administration, as well as commencement of business activities.

“The company will further assist sales and marketing, nationally and internationally, including Norwegian seafood industry and technology related to seafood production.”

Sandberg resigned as fisheries minister last month after facing strong criticism for taking a holiday in Iran, a country regarded as a security risk by the Norwegian government. He broke rules by taking his government mobile phone with him and failing to inform the Prime Minister of his trip.

According to several experts, the phone is likely to have been hacked by Iran on the holiday in July.

Sandberg was replaced as fisheries minister by Sølvtrans society and media manager Harald Tom Nesvik.
