“We are proud to have such a dedicated family business and professional salmon farmer on board with Stingray,” John Arne Breivik, the company’s General Manager told Fish Farming Expert.

“Nova Sea is an important fish farmer in northern part of Norway with more than 30,000 tonnes production per year. They are very focused on fish welfare and quality. They have followed us and our development over a long time and we've had a good dialogue about results and references from other of our customers,” he adds.

The systems are due to be installed in during August and Breivik, who officially launched the laser on the British market at Aquaculture UK, in late May, believes that it won’t be long before his systems are operating in Scottish farms.

“Scotland is still work in progress, but we have several interesting leads and following up. I believe we will able to do something there after the summer,” he reveals.
