Loch Duart sticks its oar in to help rowing club

Sutherland and Uists fish farmer Loch Duart Salmon has donated £2,000 from its Salmon Pool community fund to Uist Coastal Rowing Club, to help fund the construction of of its new new skiff - named Eabhal after the highest hill on North Uist.

“The rowing club provides such a fantastic outlet for the islands’ communities, by bringing people together and giving locals access to the stunning coastal waters. It was our privilege to be able to support them,” Loch Duart said in a social media post.

Loch Duart employee David MacIver represented Loch Duart Salmon at the launch ceremony at Otternish slipway on North Uist.
