Jan Fossberg appointed as new CEO in Ocea

“We are happy that Jan Fossberg will join our team. Hilde Waage and the rest of the management team have done a very good job during the last half year. Hilde Waage will return to the position as deputy CEO and CFO. By appointing Jan Fossberg we have increased our management capacity which will be important in order to move the company forward to the next level”, says Chairman of the board Dag Sørsdahl in a comment. “Ocea has also been through a tough period of time, but we are happy that things now are moving in the right direction, and we have high ambitions for the future” he adds. Jan Fossberg joins Ocea with extensive experience from the industry, with a background as CEO of Villa Organic and representative of the Norwegian Seafood Council in China and Korea. Fossberg has also been running his own consulting company, working with the industry both on a national and international level.

They have many skilled people and not at least many well-known products” says Jan Fossberg. “ The products are important parts of the value chain in the production of salmon and trout and other aquaculture species, and I look forward to work with companies in our industry and to contribute to move Ocea forward” he adds.
