Festive funding from farms
Marine Harvest Canada donated $10,000 to four Vancouver Island charities this Christmas.
In an act of generosity to the local communities in which they operate, Marine Harvest donated $2500 to each of four charities on Vancouver Island in order to help with increased demand during the holiday season.
These included The Knights of Columbus Christmas Hamper Fund in Campbell River, the North Island Gazette Hamper Fund in Port Hardy, the Women’s Resource Centre, and the Campbell River Foodbank.
Annual donations to these charitable groups have been provided by MHC for the past 15 years.
