Aqua Nor go-ahead still in the balance

The organisers of the world’s biggest aquaculture trade show, Aqua Nor, have postponed a decision on whether a physical event will take place in Trondheim this August.

New Covid guidelines are expected from the Norwegian government later this week and the board of Nor Fishing, which runs Aqua Nor, will make a decision after that.

“We are hoping for positive signals, indicating that a physical version of the exhibition can be executed in August,” Aqua No said in a press release today. “Therefore, we are waiting a few extra days with the final decision.”

The board said that regardless of whether or not the physical fair can be held, the digital fair will be arranged as planned.

The new deadline for cancelling hotel reservations without additional cost is May 31.
